The Bike Connector’s mission is to provide the Greater Lowell Community with safe and affordable bicycles.
Fix Your Bike
Learn to maintain and fix your bike at our workshop in Downtown Lowell. Visit our shop to schedule a slot, or sign up here. We provide the tools, the parts, and knowledge. You provide the elbow grease and curiosity to learn.
Buy a Bike
A wide variety of affordable refurbished bikes for riders of all sizes and abilities are available for purchase. Prices start at $50. We also stock used and new parts.
Earn a Bike
Earn-Your-Bike is available for teens and adults for free. Participants select a bike from our inventory of earn-able bicycles and refurbish the bike with tools and parts from the shop. Every bike comes with a free helmet and lock. SIgn up here
Learn to Ride
League Cycling Instructor’s run education programs through partners, including the Lowell Public Schools, to help youth learn the rules of the road, build skills, and gain confidence.
Recycle
The Bike Connector only works when we have bikes. We depend on municipalities, community groups, faith-based organizations, and individuals to donate outgrown or unused bikes. Read more about what we do and don’t accept
